MONTREAL - Well here it is, after many delays we finally released version 1.0 of the Tripulu travel guide IPhone app. Simply click here to download our app from Apples ITunes store: Free Tripulu IPhone app http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/tripulu/id451776616?mt=8 Our friends at Tiny Planet are presently working on fixing some minor bugs but overall I think the app looks pretty good. I wanted this app to be kept simple, partly because of our bootstrapped budget and mostly because I hate complicated things. I think this is something that more Entrepreneurs should follow through on, when designing a new web page, IPhone, IPad app, keep things simple and try to always view it from the users perspective. It’s very easy to get wrapped up in all the additional tools we can add but really at the end of the day, what do people really need....focus on this and not what YOU want :) So now that our app is live, what happens now? Truthfully, I have no idea lol Tripulu for me was always an experiment, a live beta test on how I think we could improve the travel research experience in particular the travel guide industry. Test it out and feel free to let me know what you think. |
