Mojo’s motto is ‘Music for the People, Food for the Soul’. It’s centrally located on Worthing Main Road, not far from the popular St Lawrence Gap. Mojo prides itself on being the “local’s pub” of Barbados with a relaxed vibe. Given their motto, you probably will have guessed that music is the central theme of this bar. There’s a huge collection of music from various genres, most notably reggae and rock. The walls of the bar are chock full of posters and photographs of a diverse number of musicians including Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, The Clash and U2 as well as pictures of regulars and some memorable nights at the bar.

Sit Back and Relax
This laid-back bar is like those old jeans that you keep going back to – comfortable and welcoming. Nothing fancy to look at, the building has been around for ages but still attracts a strong local crowd. The music is selected according to the bartender’s fancy and on some nights you can listen to the sounds of a local musician. Have a drink and relax. Perfect for those nights where you don’t feel like dressing your best or spending a fortune.

Mojo is a cross between a gritty bar and a friendly pub.
If you want a sleek, trendy bar then this is not the place for you. The exterior of the building looks more like a run down old house which belies its interior. Mojo is a cross between a gritty bar and a friendly pub. The music varies between the most relaxed reggae, old school rock and more modern classics. What makes Mojo fun is the bar staff, they’re always friendly and they positively encourage having one for the road. The bar is good value for money and the food isn’t too bad either. It’s always good on Monday night which is acoustic night when the vibe is totally chilled. All in all, a great budget bar with a nice crowd.
