The Ship Inn, located in the lively St Lawrence Gap has been open since 1974. The Ship Inn is an open air restaurant, bar and nightclub. There’s music and dancing every night of the week and it attracts a crowd of locals and tourists – the music is a mix of live performances by local bands and DJs.
Lunch and dinner are served every day at the Captains Carvery where you can sample an authentic Bajan Buffet. If you prefer a la carte dining, there’s also their Restaurant. If you fancy a late night snack, try Barnacle Bill’s barbeque which serves grilled fish, burgers and hot dogs.
The Ship Inn also televises most big sporting events so if you want to watch the English Premier League Football or the Superbowl then look no further.

The nightclub is popular with locals and tourists.
The Ship Inn has been around for years because their winning formula is simple, reasonably priced food, good service, lots of cheap booze, lots of music and lots of dancing; always a winning combination! The nightclub, which is popular with locals and tourists, starts to get busy between 11pm and midnight. The age bracket of the crowd varies but tends to be popular with young twenty somethings. The Ship Inn is a spacious open air venue. It can get busy but generally speaking the bar staff are pretty quick and give good service. Thursday nights are one of the more popular nights so if you’re in the Gap then drop in for a dance under the stars!
